Who We Are
Drewmar is the vision of Bill Sciambi, veteran of thirty-five years in wholesale distribution in the most competitive market in the world. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Lauber Imports, he developed a deep understanding of the wholesale wine industry, including sales management, sales reporting, marketing, team building, leadership, and customer relations.
As founding partner of Verity Wines, he has experience in strategic planning of wholesale wine operations, supply chain (import and domestic), finance, sales and marketing. Developing a turnkey fine wine distributor was a result of extensive relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues in the industry.
A strong background in directed sales and marketing has given him insights into how to turn supplier objectives into sales strategies that deliver meaningful results quickly and effectively.
He has a strong record of achievement in building sales organizations and market share, management, forecasting, strategic planning and follow through to reach immediate and long term goals
How We Work
Evaluate - Before we begin, we meet with senior managers and executives to learn the company “Blueprint”: how and why things are done currently, to achieve success, what are the obstacles, and what improvements distributor management agrees should be the focus. In addition, we can help the management team develop your own “Blueprint for Success” tailored specifically to your business.
Teach – Encourage – Engage (Training) - Seminars, workshops and tutorials are then tailored according to needs, priorities and time as determined by management. The lessons that comprise this program are the culmination of a lifetime of selling, managing, and communicating. We have taken what we have learned and practiced first hand, and rolled it into a set of presentations designed to effectively direct employees towards improved performance, and lead sales and management personnel in the direction of life-long learning and self-improvement.
